Dr. Ohad Kott

MD, MBA, MHA, MSc

Dr. Kott's career defies the conventional medical trajectory — and that is precisely what makes him a different kind of founder. Before entering clinical practice, he worked across molecular cancer biology, medical device design and marketing, and healthcare systems management, and conducted clinical research at Brown University. He trained in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center before going on to build his own practice — Atlanta Health Center — where he sees patients every day. That range of experience, from the lab bench to the operating room to the business side of care, shaped how he thinks about healthcare: not as a series of isolated problems, but as an integrated system to be solved.

Dr. Kott has been an active research collaborator throughout his career, with work published and cited across a range of topics in distinguished peer-reviewed journals including European Urology Focus and the World Journal of Urology. Among his notable contributions: in 2017–2019, before machine learning had entered mainstream healthcare, he developed a deep learning algorithm for prostate cancer diagnosis.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Kott is a board-certified Wound Care Specialist who performs bedside surgical debridements and uses advanced therapies — including skin substitutes — for patients with chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous leg ulcers. Atlanta Health Center also offers Interventional Pain Management, with a philosophy that pairs evidence-based medicine with an integrative, whole-person approach to care.

(In addition to his Western medical training, Dr. Kott is deeply interested in Eastern, holistic healing modalities and encourages his patients to practice mindfulness to reduce pain, stress and support weight loss.)

In 2025, he founded Kulanu Health, a physician-led organization focused on changing how care is delivered in Georgia and South Florida. The core idea is straightforward: independent clinicians do better work when they aren't drowning in administrative burden. Kulanu Health gives them the infrastructure, support, and business model to practice medicine the way they were trained to — with autonomy, efficiency, and sustainability. The organization is already operating across Metro Atlanta and South Florida, and growing.
